..I tried Installing Windows 8 on my 7 year old laptop (Acer Travelmate 2304) had problems with the video display. The refresh was set to 64 and you could not change it, the display on my laptop refresh rate is 60 doesn't like any other.. ..I reinstalled Windows XP, I'll wait until the beta is released.. ..I got a new hard drive for my other laptop Acer Aspire 6920G, instead of reinstalling the factory defaults (which is Windows Vista) I decided to install Windows 8 Developer preview. I only had to install 2 divers, 1 is for the sound card and the other was Launch Manager (this is for the extra keys on the right side of the keyboard) I also go the Bio Protection (Fingerprint Scaner) to work.. 
..I can Shutdown and Log Off, but the Login does not work at the moment. Microsoft need to add the ability to use the Bio Protection in the Control Panel under User, this is where the User can add a Picture login and Pin login.. .. Got a lot more to learn about the way Windows 8 works.. ..Oh well that's it for now time for a cup of TEA.. ..

18:50» » I thought I had better add something here it's been 10 days since I last posted anything :-( . I'm using speech recognition to write his post, this is the first time that I have used speech recognition to write anything. :-) It is a lot faster than I can type, I only use two fingers when typing :-) .I make fewer mistakes when I'm using speech recognition, at the moment I have only had one spelling mistake :-). I will have to get a new headset, the one I am wearing is irritating because I wear spectacles. I also keep catching the wire and pulling the headset and my spectacles of :-(. I will have to wait a while until the prices drop on the wireless headsets, because at the moment the prices of too high :-(. I'm still using windows 8 developer preview, it now looks like it will be the middle of February before the beta is released :-(. Oh well it's that time again, cup of Tea time :-).
